When you are stuck and feel the pressure brewing, and it's stuck, but not to the point that it's coming up on it's own. When you're stuck like that, how long do you wait until you go make it come up? I'm just curious. Yesterday at lunch I had a taco, I was super hungry and I ate too fast. I got stuck, I felt terrible and I kept waiting for it to go down, seriously I waited and hour and a half before I finally went to the bathroom and out it popped. I just don't think that it was going to go down. What's the longest time you've waited on a stuck and had it pass? Inquiring minds want to know.
I know, I'm just gross today.
Hugs,
T

Wow, I've never been stuck thankfully. I hope that it gets better for you.
Usually it comes back on its own within 15 minutes or so....the only time I've ever had it longer around for a long time was when I was way toooo tight (but I was getting sick all night, not just waiting for it to be done).
I don't wait at all. I'll take a drink of water to make myself throw up or just go stare at the toilet for a minute.
LOL at Amanda....thats what I do too!
I like to get it out ASAP. I still go back to my meal and try again after its out though :)
I have a fear that if I let it sit there it will stretch my upper pouch out or possibly cause other complications.
For me, it's either coming up or it isn't. Usually within 10 minutes, it's out or down. I couldn't wait that long...how miserable.
Very timely! I had to drive from Cambridge to London this morning (over an hour). I had a piece of toasted rye with peanut butter and jam. I had to stop at a rest stop halfway to PB in the bathroom. Then continuing the rest of the drive, I would have liked to do it again but there was no where to stop. Thankfully when I parked and started moving around, it must have passed. But over an hour of feeling that way, not fun! If I feel like I have to, I usually will as soon as I can (unless I'm around a lot of people, in which case, I try to wait it out....but when it's gotta come up, it's gotta)! I have another de-fill this weekend. :-(
I will give it no more than a minute tops. I HATE the feeling. I just drink a little something carbonated (seltzer or soda) and it pops right out. Sweet Relief and a lesson learned (at least temporarily)
I don't wait. I totally hate that feeling. I can't imagine waiting an hour like that.
I'm trying to be in general better about this - and to not wait. It's not like I don't know that feeling and what it means - but often I sit there and wait thinking it's going to get better. When really, I know when the likelihood is very high that it's not going to resolve itself. So... for me this is a work in progress with my goal to avoid them altogether of course but when I don't to just not let myself sit there in pain.
