Love me some Friday!

I do! I have a very busy weekend ahead of me, but I'm excited. Today my husband and I were Santa & Mrs. Claus at school, it was fun and a role we've done before. I hope to have some pictures to post soon. This weekend I have to do some Christmas shopping to do, but first things first. I have to clean my house tonight because tomorrow is my husband's office party at our place. My boys go to their dad's today until Christmas Eve at 9:00 pm, that bums me out, but I'll be so happy to see them on Christmas. The holidays are always hard when the boys are gone for a long period of time. My routine is so tied into their activities that I feel a little lost without them.

I'm excited about the party tomorrow, we are going to have some wonderful food, I'm making a crab bisque, and the side items, my husband is grilling the steaks and boy does he do a good job. I feel like I'm about to have a good loss, I've been holding steady for the last couple of weeks, but I feel it coming, I hope this weekend will bring me to a new low. This is new territory for me and it's pretty exciting. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I'll post pics from the party soon.
Big Hugs!

Um Rosebud - you're going to have to give up the Mrs. Santa gig or stuff some pillows in your outfit. The Clauses are known for being chubby - and chubby is one thing you are NOT! LOL

Enjoy the party and the weekend!

My mounds shake is just a chocolate shake with SF Toscani Coconut syrup...delish! Alas, I didn't have it for a snack today.....we ended up going for Chinese food and I got stuck after eating 1/2 rib and 1/2 dumpling. Nothing is going down this hatch tonight.,.I am done!

Sounds like a blast! Crab bisque sounds yummy...how do you make it? I would have a hard time too if my boys went to their dads at the holidays...I guess I'm lucky that he doesn't ever try to take them. Anywhoo....have a wonderful party and I can't wait to see your pics!

yuuuummmy sounding bisque..do you have a recipe?

I used to miss my girls when they left too but I figured out there was some joy in just being a grown up without parenting duties for a few days. David and I (pre-Grace) would go spend leisurely lunches downtown or go have cocktails and hang out at the shops. Now maybe I have a problem and have a split personality (mommy me and Tina me) but it was nice to know that Tina-me was in there again.

Have a great week! and party ! :)xxxooo
