-15.5 = 61 sticks of butter or 3 big bags of sugar
or...?
Okay today is Wednesday, it's my official weigh in day and I'm not doing the happy dance. I'm now at 15.5 down, that's up a pound from and unofficial weigh in last week, tomorrow will be three weeks since my surgery and I understand that 15.5 in 3 weeks is nothing to poo poo. But, (there's always a but, isn't there?) the scale has not moved in several days and I have been doing everything right. I wasn't really exercising, but food wise I've been good. So, on Monday I decided to make a real effort to get more physical, and since Monday have walked 6.6 miles. I feel good about that and feel like my food choices have been really good. I was really hungry over the weekend, but my hunger seams to be more under control now. So, now All I really need to work on is: PATIENCE! Okay, let's hurry up and get some patience! ha!
I hope everyone has a great day. Thank you for the nice comments you've left me and for following me. I noticed I'm up to 70 followers, I can't believe it, it really says 71 followers, but I'm a follower, and can't figure out how to not follow my own blog anymore, strange I know.

LOL! Isn't it crazy that our heads tell us we are doing fine but, theres that but again! we want instant gratification. I will tell you what I keep telling myself and not listening to...we are in the healing phase and should not expect to lose weight. Yea, right! I am going for a fill on 5/5 which is 6 fricken weeks from surgery! Why?
You are doing awesome!! Do you know that I clicked to follow myself too! I can't figure out how to undo it either, so if you find out let me know!!
Have a read of my post at http://rollercoasterdieting.blogspot.com/2010/02/advice-for-us-newbies.html . The nurse at my clinic sent this to me when I wondered why I hadn't lost much weight post-op (we aren't supposed to!). I only lost 3 pounds from surgery to my first fill at 4 weeks. So I would say you are doing great!
100% agree with the comments above. You also might want to think about putting the scale away for a while. Good job getting some exercise.
You are doing so great. I hope to lose that much when my time comes.
You are doing really well. Forget the scales and just go with the best choices att the time of eating. I also had similar experiences in my first few weeks and decided to weigh daily and have never looked back. I know that some days i will weigh heavier but at least I don't miss a loss either....
It is frustrating but you will get there! I love what your therapist said, so true! Thanks for sharing that.
Keep up the exercise, that will help a bunch!
Thanks for the comment on my blog - I can't wait to see the photo of your pergola!
