Wednesday weigh in...

Today is the official weigh in day for me, so I'm down 17 pounds. I like that number but must say it was better during the week by almost 3 pounds. I find it difficult not to be disappointed, but will do my best to look at the big picture. So, I'm 4 days from my 1 month bandiversary and down 17, I'll take it.

I have a fill scheduled for May 5 and some days I feel like I don't need a fill other days I think I need the biggest one they can give me. I find that if I really stick with good solid protein rich foods that I can be satisfied for 3 hours or more. Today, I had oatmeal for the first time for breakfast and can tell you that I am some kinda hungry and it's only been and hour and a half. So, maybe I just really need to make better choices.

I want to take my scale out of my bathroom, but don't know if I'm strong enough to do it. I feel drawn to it like a moth to flame....generally with the same results. Any suggestions on just backing away from that darn thing?

Now for brighter news. Tonight is date night! I'm excited about that. I hope everyone has a great day and thanks for all the sweet comments yesterday. You guys are the best!
Hugs!
Tess

17 lbs in less than a month. And you have some disappointment? Let me doink you in the head, Girl. I have no ideas to give you about the scale other than remove it from sight.

I feel the same way about my first fill. Some days I think I need all ten cc's then some I feel like I could pass altogether. You are doing great!

17 pounds in a month? Huh? That is AMAZING. So happy for you! Take out the scale, put it somewhere hard to get to and only bring it out once a week. That is what I've been doing. Hard but worth it for my sanity.

17 pounds is awesome. 17 pounds with no restriction is commendable! You are rocking this band!

As for the scale. Well. Since it's me and I'm a scale whore and I LOVE being a scale whore, I have to say - why would you want to get rid of it? LOL Approach it with humor instead. I gained back 3 pounds since last Friday but I've lost 4 inches since last Friday. I have to laugh. Getting on the scale is my morning comedy dose.

Way to go Tess!!!!! Glad you are enjoying your band.... Wish my husband was as good a sport as yours. As far as the scale read what my dr suggested..... it will crack you up but I seriously think it works. I know it's not WW theory or anything but boy when mine goes the wrong way I try to pull in the reigns. (ok I just cut back on the wine for a night!)
